TRADELDA is specialised in the production and marketing of leather for footwear and leather goods industries, especially high quality pig skin leather that is used for shoe lining. It has more than 40 years of experience in the tanning sector and a European sales network and good international contacts with many companies, such as raw material suppliers. Its premises and know-how allow them to produce any type of leather, mainly pig skin and goat skin for lining, following the demands of their customers, with very short delivery periods. It has experience in the participation of European projects. For instance, TRADELDA participated as a SME partner in the CRAFT project “SALMON SKIN TANNING”, contract number BRST-CT98-5514.

With the present LIFETAN proposal, the company expects to obtain a low environmental impact technology, fulfilling in force legislation, with a process cost reduction, and getting ready at the same time a better quality and cheaper new product that could allow the access to new markets.
